Citrix Names Juan Pablo Jiménez as its New Vice-President for Latin America and the Caribbean

 “Juan Pablo Jiménez brings with him his wide knowledge of the IT industry and extensive experience leading multinational companies in several countries in the region,” said Fernando Campo, Citrix Vice-President for the Americas. “We are sure that his addition will be key to continuing the company’s growth in the region and strengthening our client, and business channel and partner relationships.”

And with regard to IT this will be a year of great expectations in the fields of virtualization and cloud computing,” said Juan Pablo Jiménez, Citrix Vice-President for Latin America and the Caribbean, “I am very happy to be taking on this new challenge to contribute to the growth of the brand.”

Before joining Citrix, Juan Pablo worked at Hewlett Packard where he helped to improve their sales growth in several regions over ten years. At HP he was also in charge of different business units for Latin America, was Director of the Consumers Business Unit based in Colombia, Vice-President and Country Manager for the personal systems group in Brazil, head of the Consumers Business Unit in Mexico and held other positions which provided him with a wealth of knowledge and experience of working in the region.

Before that he held various sales and marketing posts in the public companies Borden Foods and Kimberly Clark in Bogotá.

Juan Pablo is an Industrial Engineer and graduated from the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana in Bogotá, Colombia. He also took the Advanced Program for Business Management at the Instituto de Alta Dirección Empresarial in Bogotá. He can read and speak Spanish, English and Portuguese fluently.
