GE Healthcare mocks up a hospital and introduces connected solutions

Focusing on connectivity and the global strategy healthymagination, whose premise is to increase access to high-tech solutions in order to contribute to an increasingly early and accurate diagnosis for more people at reduced costs, the company showed how it has developed solutions for the Brazilian market, with offerings designed to meet specific needs.

 

Integrating systems, GE Healthcare presented information technology solutions that offer increased productivity and facility in work flows. The solutions include RIS-I, the easily integrated radiology information system, which manages the flow of information sent to the departments of radiology and nuclear medicine, and PACS IW, an online solution that allows the storage, visualization, distribution and printing of images anywhere, plus unlimited numbers of users and print on demand, reducing costs.

In the area dedicated to anesthesia, the company will launch the 9100c and Aisys + Et Control equipment, which make the anesthetic process faster and more balanced, and will also display auxiliary systems, such as the Navigator and Aespire 7900. These solutions will be on show at the Surgical Center, along with monitoring equipment, circuits, masks and filters, as well as ultrasound focused on anesthesia and emergency medicine, the Venue 40.

 

At the ICU mocked up at the stand, GE Healthcare will display its new lines of monitors, mechanical ventilators, consumer materials, defibrillators and electrocardiographs. In the Neonatal and Childbirth room, visitors will be able to see the company s unique solution, the Giraffe Omnibed, which is a multipurpose incubator and heated crib, as well as fetal and maternal monitors, and innovations in phototherapy.

 

Visitors were also  able to see the Home Care line from GE, comprising equipment for respiratory care. In addition, the Cardiology area will also introduce Holter systems, ergometric systems, electrocardiographs, defibrillators, echocardiographs, Ambulatory Blood Pressure systems and electrodes.
