The CES 2013 international fair opens today with over 3250 exhibitors in a 175,000 square meter space, breaking the record for space and exhibitors set last year. Innovation is the byword for media events this year, starting with 74 companies presenting their latest technologies at the CES Unveiled event on Sunday night and the presentation of new products by over 30 exhibitors at the CES Press Day.

Paul Jacobs from Qualcomm gave the CES opening speech with the surprising contribution of Steve Balmer from Microsoft, thus announcing the start of an exciting event that will affect countries the world over.

The Digital Health Summit is also being held as part of CES and this year it will introduce new products and technologies aimed not just at specialists but also end users, promising to work a dizzying transformation in how people approach health issues.

Deepak Chopra, the author of the book The Super Brain joined four digital leaders in a super debate moderated by the journalist Arianna Huffington entitled The Digital Health Revolution: Body, Mind and Soul which addressed exciting issues such as how the power of technology can revolutionize issues of mind, body and soul.
