You can become a Senior Member or Fellow Member of HIMSS depending on years of membership and number of points. Points are earned for education and certification; experience and professional responsibility; presenting or publishing on health IT topics; and serving as a HIMSS volunteer on committees, work groups, chapter leadership, etc.
