Description of the Role: The Facility Leader will work closely with the BIS Project Manager, BIS project teams, and IS Director to coordinate and lead hospital resources through the EHR and other EHR-related implementations. This role coordinates and champions the EHR implementation project activities and acts as a change agent for use of the electronic health record to provide patient care. The position will require flexible and extended work hours during some phases of the implementation as well as some travel to Bryan Tower and other Baylor Facilities.
Some of the knowledge necessary includes: Knowledge of clinical systems. Eclipsys experience preferred.
Education: Master Degree Related to position required, with five years clinical experience.
