Course in New Applied Information Technologies for Public Administration

Aimed at imparting basic concepts and outlining the characteristics and challenges of the use of ICTs in public administration, the Argentine Society of Informatics and Operational Research (SADIO) will hold the course: “New Applied Information Technologies in Public Administration”.

 

The module is aimed at public officials, political scientists and suppliers of technology goods and services.    

 

The instructors will be Eduardo Poggi (Masters in Administration and Public Policy and Postgraduate in Business and Technology at the Universidad de San Andrés and a graduate in Computer Sciences at the Universidad de Buenos Aires) and Diego Pando (Political Scientist, Masters in Administration and Public Policy at the Universidad de San Andrés and Doctor in Political Sciences and Administration at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid).

The subjects to be addressed are split into four units:

1.  Basic concepts of information technology

2. Trends in public administration

3. Public data management

4. Trends in the administration of public technology

 

The course will last twelve hours spread across four classes which will be held on Tuesdays between 6PM and 9PM from May 12, at Uruguay 252 2°D, Ciudad Autónoma de Buenos Aires.
