El acuerdo une el negocio de software de DXC para organizaciones proveedoras de servicios de salud con Dedalus, compañía líder en Europa en el sector software de salud y sistemas de diagnóstico sanitario, para crear una sinergia global aún más fuerte en los campos de TI clínica de sistemas información hospitalaria (HIS), atención primaria y sociosanitaria, atención integrada y diagnóstico.
El negocio resultante estará focalizado únicamente en acelerar la transformación digital de la actividad sanitaria y la efectividad de los sistemas de salud.

“La incorporación del negocio de software sanitario de DXC acelerará nuestras iniciativas de crecimiento que comenzó hace tres años y beneficia a más de 3 millones de profesionales de la salud que utilizan nuestra tecnología para tratar a más de 200 millones de pacientes cada día”, agregó Giorgio Moretti, executive chairman en Dedalus Group.
La transacción fue aprobada por el Consejo de Administración de DXC y se espera que concluya en marzo de 2021, sujeto al cumplimiento de las condiciones de cierre ordinarias y a la recepción del consentimiento de algunos terceros, así como de las aprobaciones regulatorias. La venta no está sujeta a condiciones de financiación o aprobación por parte de los accionistas.

“The addition of DXC’s healthcare software business will accelerate our growth initiatives that started three years ago and benefit the more than 3 million healthcare professionals who use our technology to treat more than 200 million patients every year,” said Giorgio Moretti, executive chairman of the Dedalus Group.
The transaction was approved by DXC’s Board of Directors and is expected to close by March 2021, subject to the satisfaction of customary closing conditions and the receipt of certain third-party consents and regulatory approvals. The sale is not subject to any financing conditions or shareholder approvals.
