Job Descriptions: (Primary functions of the job)
- To conduct market research, review secondary research data, and produce analytical reports about buyers’ needs, perceptions, and preferences
- To prepare competitive analysis reports for Chile’s sales team
- To create an annual marketing plan for Chile and manage local marketing staff. To execute media campaigns and conduct local events that build brand awareness and preference for InterSystems and its product offerings in all target audience segments.
- To recommend Chile’s marketing budget and ensure that yearly expenses match approved budgets.
- To manage relationships with local marketing agencies.
- To provide marketing guidance to local Application Partners.
- To produce local-language adaptations of corporate marketing materials (including advertisements, mailing pieces, additional sales materials, etc.)
- To update the content on InterSystems’ local web site in Chile.
- To nurture relationships with influential local journalists, industry analysts, and bloggers.
- To produce sales materials as required by the sales organization (to create new materials and adapt materials produced by corporate headquarters to meet local requirements).
Job Requirements: (Education, experience, skills needed)
- Highly creative and detail-oriented.
- At least 10 years of professional experience with a marketing agency or in-house marketing department in Chile.
- College graduate; graduate school degree preferred.
- Experience with software companies is highly desirable.
- Experience with marketing to healthcare organizations is a plus.
- In-depth knowledge of marketing techniques for social media, online and print advertising, media relations, direct marketing, events, telemarketing, collateral production.
- Enjoys «»hands-on»» role in marketing, not just managing the work of others.
- Produce Gantt charts to manage marketing projects.
- PowerPoint creation and use of Customer Relationship Management software.
- Strong presentation and writing skills.
- Fluency in Spanish and English. Able to travel (usually to Brazil) for 3 days
