Over the last 20 years, the number of jobs in the field of bioengineering has increased due to greater demand on the part of healthcare institutions and companies supplying healthcare products who are keen to find the right people to manage the increased technological diversity and interact efficiently with different healthcare professionals. Responding to this situation the ISALUD University has created the first Argentinian Diploma on biomedical technologies to increase the efficiency of the performance of these professionals and ensure safety in the use of medical equipment – in its widest sense.
During the course of the program, the teaching body will address the acquisition and provision of medical equipment; the maintenance of medical equipment; microeconomics applied to managing medical equipment; regulations in biomedical engineering; and quality control in medical equipment. Furthermore, it will include visits and practical activities involving case studies.
