The Director of the Hospital Orellana, Dr. Héctor Boffi, has confirmed that electronic health records are now in operation and can be used for any form of consultation.
“From now on we can carry out epidemiological studies and also find out how many people are treated by PAMI every day, week and month, filtering by specialty or age group”, Boffi explained.
Boffi said that he was pleased with the project implemented by the municipality’s IT team.
The Hospital Orellana, located in Trenque Lauquen, now has a website that allows heads of department and the hospital management to keep a record of the work that professionals do at the hospital.
He also noted that doctors are fundamental participants in the scheme and that the IT systems are a very valuable tool.
“The system allows us to carry out different assessments as the numbers give us the information we need to maintain or correct the services provided at the hospital,” concluded Héctor Boffi.
