The HIMSS Davies Public Health Award program has opened a call for submissions by public health organizations that have utilized innovative health IT-enabled workflows to improve population health.
The Davies Public Health Award highlights the link between improvements in population health and health IT.
Submission of case studies to the HIMSS Davies Public Health Award Program requires that applicants submit information which describes how implementation of their and EHR enabled changes in workflow improve the population health of the community they serve.
Case Studies will be highlighted on the HIMSS Davies Award and HIMSS Value Suite websites and the HIMSS Blog.
For more information and to discuss possible submissions, please contact Jonathan French, Director of Healthcare Information Systems.
To be recognized as a 2014 Davies Public Health Award winner, case studies must be submitted by June 30.
