Remote connection between patients and doctors is one of the most important challenges being faced by the Chinese healthcare system.
So, at the 2014 Chinese Conference on Health Information and Communication Technologies, Bingli Jiao, Director of the National Telemedicine Project and a Professor at the University of Peking, will present a few current case studies of remote projects that are being implemented in China to improve patient care.
In addition, the Chapter Leader of Shanghai Health 2.0, Oliver Tang, will be the speaker at an educational talk that will emphasize the development of innovative solutions for doctor-patient communication via 2.0 technologies.
The Tongren Beijing Hospital, Health Department at Beijing Hospital, Peking University Medical Union, People’s University Hospital of Peking, China-Japan Friendship Hospital in Beijing and Cancer Hospital of Beijing are just some of the local institutions that will appear at the event, which will take place between April 24 and 25 at the Hotel Marriott in Beijing, China.
