Federal District is the first region in Brazil to possess a helicopter equipped with Portable Digital Bluetooth Tele-Electrocardiography for use in urgent and emergency cases. This equipment – already used by the Mobile Emergency Care ambulance service (SAMU 192) – makes it possible to issue a rapid, trustworthy diagnosis before the patient has even reached the hospital.
The technology was presented by the Emergency Coordinator and Minister for Health Emergencies, Pablo de Tarso, during a test flight carried out by the DF Fire Department.
