Aiming to make specialized academic training in administration technology more accessible for healthcare professionals, the agreement signed between the Official Doctors’ College of Barcelona and La Salle Higher Education Center in Barcelona plans to implement concrete measures in this field.
The university and healthcare sectors will both benefit from the agreement signed yesterday at midday, which will give member doctors in the college access to 30 Masters-level and Postgraduate degrees given by La Salle Campus Barcelona. “The agreement sets out a program of advantages and discounts to provide advantageous conditions in the Masters and post-graduate courses offered by La Salle at its Barcelona campus,” said Mr. Albert Lluch I Boada, Adjunct Director of Operations at the Official Doctors’ College of Barcelona and general director-councilor of Grup Med Corporatiu, SAU.
The Director General of La Salle Campus Barcelona, Brother Miquel Àngel Barrabeig, emphasized the higher educational center’s efforts to provide university level training for the specific needs of the most important professional collectives. “Specialization in our training programs is worked on year after year to ensure that they meet the needs of the labor market,” noted Barrabeig, adding that “technology and healthcare are one of the main avenues of faculty research being worked on by our IT Engineering department.”
