Introducing its new corporate image and innovative products and services, Diego Kaminker, Rodolfo Renner and Claudio Weisz – Director of Development, Commercial Vice-President and CEO of Kern Software Technology respectively, held their official launch yesterday.
“We want laboratory systems to cease to only operate in the laboratory and to integrate more with other healthcare systems, providing more contact with the patient and taking advantage of personal devices for work.” Kaminker said to EHealth Reporter Latin America, describing some of the company’s objectives. He further added: “We want to provide big-laboratory quality to even the smallest labs through our K-Cloud tool.”
K-Cloud is one of the company’s most important services, providing a computer administration solution for small and mid-sized Clinical Analysis laboratories. Kern proposes three different business models so that it can adapt better to the needs of each kind of laboratory.
Furthermore, one of the company’s clearest aims is to create an integrated system model that can avoid the need for specific software for the laboratory, a different kind for anatomic pathology, another for microbiology or another for blood banks, and unify them all in a single product with different modules. “We are trying to make it completely standardized,” concluded Kaminker at a meeting which highlighted the fundamental pillars of the company: innovation, passion and action.
