HL7 Consolidated CDA®: New Testing Opportunity at NA Connectathon 2013

Consolidated CDA is an information exchange standard for common clinical documents, such as a consult, history and physical or progress note. Organizations that participate will demonstrate they are ahead of the curve in applying standards required for Stage 2 Meaningful Use of electronic health records. The Connectathon will offer tests for both Consolidated CDA Document Creators and Document Consumers. Organizations that create Consolidated CDA documents can register to test one or more of the nine document types. Organizations that consume Consolidated CDA documents must support all nine document types, at minimum for display. The registration and payment deadline for Consolidated CDA testing have been extended to Nov. 16.
