iSOFT continues its expansion in Mexico

Noticias corporativas

– iSOFT, a CSC company, has been awarded a new contract in Mexico by Baja California State Health Secretariat for the implementation of electronic health records in the health sector, including hospital care and primary care, using a patient index with a centralized repository.

129 health centres and three hospitals linked to Baja California’s Health Secretariat will have a unified health information system through the integration of iSOFT solutions for hospital care (x-HIS) and primary care (e-SIAP), which will also be connected to the International Vademecum drug catalogue and the QlikView business intelligence platform, as well as the laboratory system in use at the Health Secretariat centres. Juan Antonio Pérez, director of iSOFT’s Mexico and Honduras Business Unit, said: “This new project is the first one signed after our hospital care and primary care systems successfully met the requirements for obtaining the Mexican certification NOM-024-SSA3-2010 in September 2011, making iSOFT one of the first companies to obtain this certification and achieving the highest rating to date. It represents another success in our expansion strategy in Mexico, where three Health Secretariats already use our complete and integrated IT solution model in their regional health systems.”
